Tyler Watters Aspiring Geographic Information Scientist

My personal and professional idealogies follow a simple rule; Know yourself and seek self improvement. Most of the actions I take are to improve my personal capabilities in one aspect or another, be it something simple like going the literal extra mile on a run or something greater like becoming the first person in my family to earn a Bachelor's degree. I initially aimed to complete a B.S. in Computer Science, how computers work and the science behind it had always fascinated me. It took a few semesters to figure out that it wasn't quite what I was looking for but now I am happy in my choice to pursue a degreee in GIS. With this degree I plan to rejoin the service under the recently formed United States Space Force. Being able to use the knowledge I have accrued during my brief academic career to help protect allied space assets as well as improve domestic space capabilities is a goal certainly worthy of my time.
